We provide data-driven, deeply reported stories on the impacts big agribusiness and policymakers have on our food system. Stories most other media outlets rarely tell.

It is work we believe is essential and that you support.

So we’re excited to share — thanks to you — we met our initial NewsMatch goal of $15,000.

But we aren’t done yet. We have a stretch goal$20,000 — to which we are close! With less than 2 hours to go, another $5,000, for example, would fund an intern for summer 2025, growing their data and investigative reporting skills.

This is the last email of the campaign, and we know all gifts large and small help bring us to the finish line. Help us cross the line by starting a monthly donation or making a final one-time gift tonight through 11:59 p.m.

Every dollar you give provides power for our newsroom to continue producing the deeply reported, data-driven journalism you’ve come to expect.

Happy New Year, to you and yours.

With gratitude,

Erin Orr, Executive Director

P.S. There’s still time! Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to friends and colleagues who you think would be interested in supporting our work.

Investigate Midwest relies on donations and fundraisers to help fuel our work. We appreciate your patience with extra emails during these periods. Thanks for being a member in Investigate Midwest's community!
