Dear friends of Investigate Midwest,

We’re popping into your inbox today with a quick note to let you know that, starting tomorrow (and through the end of the year), we'll be emailing a bit more often than usual — and to briefly tell you why.

Starting tomorrow, November 1, we’ll be participating in NewsMatch, a powerful collaborative fundraising movement to support independent journalism.

In a nutshell, this means that any contribution you make as an individual (not as a business or organization), up to $1,000, will be doubled by this national program, up to $13,000 from November 1 until December 31.

With the support of readers like you, we have set an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 throughout our NewsMatch campaign, enabling us to keep delivering in-depth, insightful journalism on the U.S. food system throughout 2024 and beyond.

You can help us reach that goal by making a new monthly donation or one-time gift. Stay tuned to learn more about this important time of year in the life of our organization and how to take advantage of this great opportunity to make a donation go further!

(Thank you for any amount you have donated to us previously. Thanks in advance for your support and understanding of our increased communication — we can’t do this work, and keep information accessible to all, without folks like you supporting us.)

Watch for more information next Tuesday!
Mary Ungs-Sogaard, Donor Relations Manager
