This year, we became part of The Trust Project, a global network of news organizations that use transparency standards to help readers assess the quality and credibility of journalism. Transparency and credibility are essential to our work — and we know you count on it.
Our reporters cover big agribusiness and industry abuses, which governmental policies are — and aren’t — working well, and solutions being explored or put into practice. Being a member of The Trust Project also means we are transparent about our own policies, standards and ethical practices we follow to produce this important work, day in and day out.
Right now, we are working to raise $25,000 to help support this work in 2024. Work that isn’t beholden to corporate entities and interests.
