Here at Investigate Midwest, we understand agriculture and news. And we know that, these days, the news can feel especially unpredictable and relentless.
As a nonprofit investigative news organization, we’re committed to telling stories that affect rural individuals, families and communities in the Midwest that might otherwise go untold — about the impacts of agriculture on air and water quality, the health and safety of our food system, and pollution and drought affecting the Mississippi River Basin.
We keep the spotlight on agribusiness and policymakers, entities that need to be kept accountable.
