We’d love to hear from you

Feb. 3, 2026

We’re following up with a quick reminder about a short reader survey we shared last week.

Investigate Midwest is participating in an audience research project led by Northwestern University’s Medill Local News Accelerator and Press Forward Chicago.

The goal is to better understand who engages with local journalism and how people use investigative reporting like ours.

We need at least 200 responses to make the results meaningful, so we’d really appreciate you adding your voice.

If you regularly read our stories, share our work, or follow our reporting on agriculture, labor, and environmental accountability, your perspective is especially valuable.

Your responses help inform how we approach our reporting and how we reach readers across the Midwest.

The survey takes about 11 minutes to complete.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and for supporting independent journalism.

As a thank you, those who complete it can enter a $100 gift card raffle.
