Why you can trust Investigate Midwest

I wanted to be sure you saw Erin’s email from Friday — and to take the opportunity to let you know we’ve so far raised $12,000 toward our NewsMatch goal. This is wonderful and all thanks to you!

This also means we need to raise another $12,500 to reach our stretch goal of $25,000. I know we can do it — with your generous support. I hope you’ll join us today to support journalism that holds the powerful to account, and double the impact of your gift during this match period.

With gratitude,
Mary Ungs-Sogaard, Donor Relations Manager

Dear friends of Investigate Midwest:

As a supporter, you've come to depend on our deep-dive reporting to give you the facts you want — and need — to know about big agribusiness, policy and the many impacts both have on the food system of which each of us is a part.

  • We rely on you to share our stories with others and to help support Investigate Midwest through your generosity.

We are closing in on the last two weeks of our year-end fundraising campaign. A critical time for any nonprofit, and for Investigate Midwest, your gift plays a role in the scope of our coverage plans and how much we can broaden our reach in 2024.

From now until Dec. 31, NewsMatch will double individual gifts up to $1,000 for a total $15,000 match. But we have big plans next year, so we are shooting to raise a total of $25,000.

Won’t you help us reach our target?

With gratitude,

Erin Orr, Executive Director
