Investigate Midwest will host its annual Sunset on the Farm fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Walker Homestead Farm and Winery near Iowa City.
The evening will include unlimited wood-fired pizza and salad, live music, a silent auction, a cash wine bar and s’mores by the fire as the sun sets over the Iowa countryside.
Proceeds will support Investigate Midwest and its IowaWatch newsroom. Investigate Midwest serves the public by exposing dangerous and costly practices of influential agricultural corporations and institutions through in-depth, data-driven investigative journalism.
Sunset on the Farm also gives readers and supporters an opportunity to meet members of the Investigate Midwest community and learn more about the journalism their contributions make possible.
